Department of Pharmacology

The advanced and well equipped pharmacology laboratory helps in the various types of pharmacology and bio assay experiments of different drugs. The experiments related to various animal models can be carried out with the specially designed instruments such as analgesiometer, rota rod, kymograph, histamine chamber, plethysmograph etc. The intuitive software present in the laboratory provides video graphic illustrations about the animal models and experiments. It incorporates the knowledge and skills related to different doses, routes of administration, effect of the drugs, mechanisms and adverse effects. Students will be benefitted with proper usage of the instruments and carrying out the scientific procedures.
